KeyNotes
Happy Easter! This greeting was taught to the school children and staff as a team from your association traveled to Taiwan to teach “English Cultural Class on the True Meaning of EASTER!” Yes, we shared the Gospel in a public school setting AND taught them English words pertaining to the Gospel and Easter (ie: Resurrection, Cross, tomb, Jesus, donkey, cup, bread, nails, crown of thorns, etc.). Seeds were planted for the kingdom. I ask that you pray for them to be cultivated and grow. In December there will be two weeks of teams going to teach the True Meaning of Christmas!
More children connect with Jesus during Vacation Bible School than any other time or event. I am a product of Vacation Bible School. It was there I really began to understand the Gospel. The Associational VBS Training is at Southside April 28th. Several smaller churches have already expressed a need for church assistance (mission possibility). If your church wants a local mission trip, I can’t think of a better way than assisting or conducting a VBS with a sister church.
I was encouraged to hear of so many of our sister churches engaged in mission projects locally, in Tennessee and beyond (Guatemala, Belize, Dominican Republic, Taiwan to name a few) during Spring Break! Acts 1:8 command is an imperative mandate of Jesus is to get involved in spreading the Gospel, first locally in your Jerusalem. Start right where the Father has placed you; in your family, work, community, church; and extending to the ends of the earth! May being on mission become our driving force to reproduce healthy spiritual followers of Jesus and churches that become Acts 2:42 churches: developing relationships, sharing Jesus and Making reproducing Disciples for the Kingdom!
Finally, it’s going to be an awesome Spring and Summer of ministry and mission. As WE go, identify your mission field and be on mission! I am blessed to be your AMS / DOM and be NEAR you as we Network, Equip, Assist and Resource for Kingdom-work effectively! Until HE comes!
In Him,
